Graffiti NY teamed with high-fashion, exotic skins handbag maker Nancy Gonzalez for a one of a kind Graffiti bag program. The series of custom graffiti handbags debuted in Dallas, TX at the TWO X TWO AIDS benefit.
Luncheon-goers purchased bags at the event knowing that 20% of the day’s proceeds from handbag sales would go to Two x Two, which benefits amfAR (The Foundation for AIDs Research) and the Dallas Museum of Art. Client’s were given the option for graffiti monograms and icons atop of Pollock-esque splatters. Edgy, fun, customizable pieces painted for a great cause. Check out some of the bags from the project below!
Production Companies Area 64 and RITA reached out to Graffiti NY for a Graffiti commission. Final piece was used by BETC Agency for ALAIN AFFLELOU optical products campaign.
We were asked to develop and paint a clean, traditional graffiti lettering style that is easy to read on video and across multiple platforms. The painted piece will be used to promote the ALAIN AFFLELOU Win-Win package plan.
Fun piece, great video on a DUMBO, Bklyn rooftop…with a sick view? Doesn’t get much better than this!
Graffiti NY worked with Andrew and Martine for Scott and May’s new Williamsburg offices. They were inspired by the story of our artist heading the project, Stae2. He grew up admiring many of the masterpieces the Williamsburg waterfront displayed in the early 90’s. This area was very instrumental in developing the foundation to his graffiti work. They were happy to invite him many years later to paint a piece in the area that brought him so many fond memories.
The space is outfitted in subtle Alice in Wonderland pieces throughout, so they asked that we illustrate the theme and incorporate their brand colors. The piece was just as they hoped; edgy, clean and just the final piece their new home needed! These guys were a great bunch to work with and we’re really excited at the possibility of working with them again as Stott and May continues to grow!
Check out the neat view we had while painting and photos of the finished masterpiece!
The good folks at Translation needed professional NY graffiti mural artists to paint a video backdrop for Sprite‘s Thirst of the Boroughs campaign during the NBA All Star Weekend festivities. They came to Graffiti NY to illustrate Queens aka “The Galaxy” in graffiti art to give the video a fresh urban vibe. Queens natives and super talented MC’s Timeless Truth are featured in the Queens segment rhyming in front of our piece-can you say AWESOME! We’re so excited to be a part of this project and work alongside such a creative bunch.

Recently, the awesome folks at CHLO Events invited Graffiti NY to be a part of an amazing event, painting live at Aaron Miller’s Bar Mitzvah in the super hip Bowery Hotel.
We were asked to paint Aaron’s name at the event in a classic graffiti style. We also kept the crowd engaged by creating a faux brick background that allowed guests to “tag” messages and be part of the final piece of art- it allowed everyone to let their inner-Banksy loose!
The party was a blast and we were very excited with the feedback we received from the guests and everyone involved. Thanks again to Corey at CHLO for putting it all together and Lynda at Oxygen House for the photos of the Custom Bar Mitzvah Graffiti!
BKLYN 577 New Lots Avenue
Justin from Crown Investments reached out to us to transform this empty white wall with a colorful street art mural. The goal was to engage the community through art and communicate East New York as an evolving neighborhood infused with diversity and culture. We worked with Justin and his team to create a colorful design that reads BKLYN. Throughout the day we had neighbors and passersby go out of their way to show their support and let us know how much our work was appreciated. We’re very happy to have been part of the project and the positive response from the community.
Graffiti NY partnered with Too Fly for the launch of Clairol Professional’s new hair coloring product “Flare”. The mission was to create a beautiful signature Toofly character piece inspired by the vibrant color of graffiti art. The piece was painted outdoors on a sunny day in Corona, Queens on a large 2-panel canvas. It was later installed in the new and improved Wella World Studio downtown Manhattan. The launch date was awesome! Too Fly prepared a slide presentation alongside celebrity color stylist Kiyah Wright who’s worked with artists like Mary J Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Tyra Banks, Kerri Washington and more. The presentation allowed Too Fly to speak about how graffiti has inspired her to make street art and empower women through her work, as well as how the colorful graffiti culture as a whole in influencing trends in fashion, music, and art. The media that attended the event got a chance to tag up on the piece, take photos, and instagram the event #cpflarelaunch. We were very happy to bring TooFly and the Clairol team together for this amazing event!
