The folks at McDonalds hired graffiti NY paint a graffiti mural for their outdoor seating. They asked we work the mural around a baseball theme since it’s located right next door to Yankee Stadium. Our approach was pretty simple, paint some fun baseball fanatic character’s interacting with the McDonald’s mascot’s . We even added caricatures of actual fans that were real excited to be a part of the mural. Take me out to the ball game!…and check out the baseball mural next time you’re at the game.
Hire Graffiti-NY was asked to be a part of the Bronx NY Graffiti Mural project A.C.T. The Bronx is the birthplace of International culture, but you wouldn’t know it by walking through this corridor of Longwood/Hunts Point prior to A.C.T. (Artist Coming Together). These murals are as important to the business owners in the area as they are to the residents of the community. A community, by definition generates its own content, its own style and culture. It’s all by the people, for the people and that‘s the motivation for the project. We’re proud of our contribution and to have been part of this community initiative.
Graffiti Artist for Hire– “Get Fresh” mural project for P.S. 135Q offered a solution for two issues the community was facing. P.S. 135Q was a target for “tagger” graffiti and the community lacked color and public art. We proposed a fun “Get Fresh” message along with a cartoon character scene the students and faculty could relate to and enjoy. We were very happy with the overwhelming response from the community and students.
